Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I am making a sympathy card using stamps from Neat and Tangled. Sympathy cards can be hard to make, so having some on hand is a good idea. I have colored the flower images with colored pencils. Watch the video below for more details!
Colored pencils are really popular right now, but most of the sets used are more expensive, like the polychromos pencils from Faber-Castel (confession: I have ordered the set of 36. Review to come soon). The set that I have used for this video are currently selling for $14 and change on Amazon for a set of 60. Granted, the quality is not the same, but if you are starting out, on a budget, or don’t want to invest in the fancier version, these do the job. Do you get beautiful blends? No. But you get nice coloring and if we are being honest, most recipients don’t notice things like your blending abilities with colored pencils.
Do you color with pencils often? If so, let me know. Also, I am looking for more crafty blogs to follow. If you have a blog, leave me a link in the comments so that I can come visit and subscribe!
All the supplies that I used are listed below. Thanks for stopping by!
