Hello and welcome back to another blog post! It’s the season to make cards for our fathers, as Father’s Day is just a few days away! I have two amazing dads in my life-my own father, and my father-in-law. Both are amazing men, and deserving of a nice, handmade card for their special day. I turned to the Waffle Flower Be Him set, and I think they will enjoy these simple critter cards.
To watch me make this card in detail, please watch the video below!
It is so hard to make cards for men, and I was stumped this year. When I saw the Waffle Flower Be Him set, I knew that was what I wanted to use. After I copic colored the images, and die cut peek-a-boo holes for them, I took the card front and ran them through my die cut machine with embossing folders and plates to emboss a subtle background for the cute critters to sit on. It elevates the card without adding too much work. I always forget to use embossing folders, but I was glad that I did for these cards.
What are you making for the fathers in your life? Let me know in the comments below!
