Hello and welcome back to another blog post! Today I am reviewing the new Picket Fence Studio Life Changing Blender Brushes, as well as making a card for a sweet friend. I’m glad that you are here with me!
To watch me make this card in detail, please watch the video below!
I have been seeing lots of videos using these blender brushes, and I knew I had to try them. Sometimes I find it hard to get a good ink blend, especially with anything other than distress oxide inks. I will certainly be using these for the foreseeable future, and plan to buy more! These provide such a beautiful wash of color. If you are on the fence, get some!
The sentiments n this stamp set are so sweet. While I am not a mama, I know a lot of young mothers, and I know that they can use some encouragement. This card is going to a sweet friend that has a precious 5-month old, and an elementary school aged child, and I just wanted to send her some love.
I do want to briefly talk about why I purchased the Picket Fence Studio version. I have seen lots of videos comparing these brushes to cheaper alternatives. For me, I wanted to buy the “originals”. I know that Picket Fence Studio did not invent this style of brush, but they introduced it to our crafty world. I wanted to be sure that I supported them, a small business, and not a giant corporation. Plus, I do think that these are a higher quality and will last longer than the other brushes.
Have you tried these brushes? What do you think about them? Let me know in the comments below!
