Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I am making a scene card using stamps from Hello Bluebird. They are a relatively new company to the stamping industry that is making a big mark already. I love making scene cards, especially when I have cute critters to color and feature. Watch the video below for a full how-to!
Even though Easter has passed, I still think you can use bunny stamp sets. Paired with the right sentiments, stamp sets like this are more spring than Easter. Plus, I love bunnies, and want to keep coloring them for a few more weeks.
I started by ink smooshing oxide inks onto watercolor paper for a sky background. Then, I added grass to the bottom of the card using the Lawn Fawn Grassy Borders die. I used patterned paper as my grass. There are so many uses for patterned paper, and I often forget about using it for things like grass. Let me know in the comments below how you use patterned papers.
There are lots of sets from Hello Bluebird that are on my wish list (guilty of placing another order already). Have you tried this company yet? Their coordinating dies are the most reasonably priced in the industry, so far as I have seen. In fact, I think all of their pricing is really reasonable. I just ordered the Jungle Littles stamp and die set, which I can’t wait to use.
All the supplies, and copic colors that I used are listed below.
