Hello and welcome back to another blog post! Today, I am back with an adorable donut shaker card, using the donut card die from Honey Bee Stamp. This is from their newest release, and when I saw it, I just knew that I needed to make a shaker card with the die! Please watch the video below to see my process in detail.
This card is so fun, it is hard to resist a donut! When I think of sprinkle donuts, I think about the pink frosting kind (am I the only one?!). So, I made the frosting top using a few distress oxide inks in pink shades. The donut is cut from craft card stock to give the donut effect. For the shaker bits, I used Honey Bee Stamp candy sprinkles and Pretty Pink Posh sparkling clear stars. I love how this combination came together, the sprinkles were a no-brainer to use for this card. The whole card is adhered to a card base made from Neenah Solar White 110lb card stock.
I always need encouragement cards, so this one is perfect for friends going through a hard time. On the inside, I stamped “You got this” from the Honey Bee Stamp Donut Worry Stamp set. The total card reads “donut worry, you got this”. I think the sentiment and the card would definitely put a smile on someone’s face! The completed card fits into a 6 inch square envelope. I have some linked down below that I bought to use with square cards.
