Creating a Scene Card-Lawn Fawn Stamptember Release 2019

Hello and welcome back to another blog post! Today I am building a scene card combining two Lawn Fawn Stamptember sets together.

To watch me make this card in detail, please watch the video below!

The main stamp set that I am using is this year’s Simon Says Stamp Stamptember collaboration with Lawn Fawn called Snow Bunnies. I fell in love with these cute bunnies, and I knew I had to have them. This year’s collaboration reminded me a lot of last year’s set, Nutty or Nice.

Both sets showcase sweet critters building snowmen, so I just had to combine them and have the critters together on one card. I use the snow bunny from the new set, but didn’t stamp the nose so that the bunny from Snow Bunnies could be adding the carrot nose from Nutty or Nice, while the sweet squirrel adds the last arm on to the snow bunny.

The scene is finished with the Snowy Backdrop Die, covered with the new Lawn Fawn liquid stardust, and the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders, which have a fun, snowy texture to them. I added Hero Arts Lacquer pen, followed by the white puff embossing powder, and heat set it until I got little snowy hills on the tops of my Hillside Border Dies.

This is my first Christmas card of the season! Are you busy with holiday cards yet? Let me know in the comments below!
