Waffle Flower January 2020 Release Blog Hop

Today we are hopping along and celebrating the January 2020 Waffle Flower release! This release features lots of great stamps and dies that will have you ready for Valentine’s Day, spring, and beyond! All of the products can be found here, and all of the individual products are linked at the end of this post.

Be sure that you read through to the end of the post, as Waffle Flower is doing a giveaway to celebrate the release!

My first project features the Love You Bunnies combo on a simple ink blended background. These bunnies are great for so many types of cards, including Valentine’s Day, weddings, and just a card to show someone that you care about them!

For this card, I colored the bunnies in using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and used Mermaid Lagoon distress oxide ink for the blended background. I popped up the images with foam tape to complete this clean and simple scene card!

My second card features the Special Delivery combo, used in a different way. The stamp features a nice, large image with stamps that you can use to fill in the scene with different colors. Instead, I used the small floral images to make my own patterned paper, and did the eclipse technique with the nesting postage dies.

For the floral images, I used Waffle Flower Dye Inks, which you can find here. They stamp very smooth and crisp, even on these small images.

For the third card, I made a 5×7 sized card using the Blossoms Stamp set. I am trying to improve on my watercoloring, and these floral images were perfect for that.

I love that the stamp set comes with so many great sentiments, so you have everything you need to create a card all in one set. The coordinating dies are helpful as well if you like to cut out your floral images and place them on another background.

For the last project that I am going to share today, I used the Sweet Scallops Panel Die to create a rainbow card. If there is a chance to make a rainbow card, I am always going to take it.

I stacked up a few of the die cuts, colored the bottom of the card using a rainbow of copic markers, and then filled in the openings with Nuvo Crystal glaze to get the stained glass look.

Which card was your favorite, or which products are you picking up from the release? Be sure to let me know in the comments below!
