Whimsical Bundle Projects

When I received the package with the May release in it, I was immediately drawn to the Whimsical bundle this month. The bundle contains the Tooth Fairy Shapes Die, and the Tooth Fairy Combo.

With the Tooth Fairy Shapes die, I couldn’t resist making a Tooth Fairy Pillow. I had a similar pillow as a child, where you slip your tooth into the pocket of the pillow and overnight, the tooth fairy comes and takes the tooth, and leaves something for you in the pillow’s pocket where the tooth was. Now, I think the most I ever received from the Tooth Fairy was $1, but friends tell me that she leaves their children more money. Inflation is real! 🙂 To watch me make the pillow, watch the video below.

For the card project that I made with the Tooth Fairy Bundle, I imagined a night scene where the tooth fairy was coming to collect her teeth. I love this fairy image, she is so beautiful, and if you watch my videos or read the blog often, you know that I love all of Cassie Loizeaux’s illustrations, and this is no exception.

All of the images are colored with copic markers, and I ink blended the background with distress oxide inks. I splattered the background with shimmer and gouache, and heat embossed some of the star elements from the stamp set. I popped up the tooth fairy and put the sentiment on the cloud from the Rainbow Panel Die.
